Empowering the Next Generation: Achieving Impact in Education

"I feel very grateful to have come to your workshop and can't wait to engage with my students using the resources provided"

The world is changing faster than ever, and young people need the right skills to confidently navigate their future.  Too often, they feel unprepared for the leap from school to the real world, and those supporting them struggle to find engaging and effective ways to help.  How can we bridge this gap and empower our students not just to survive, but to truly thrive?

This is a question that the team at The King's Trust Australia is passionate about, and one we'll be exploring at the upcoming National Education Summit in Brisbane later this year.

The Achieve framework is a game-changer. In collaboration with workplace learning specialists and in co-design with teachers, students and thought leaders, The King’s Trust Australia has created Achieve, an inquiry-based framework that engages young people in learning through careers education and ‘enterprise skills’ development. It empowers young people to take ownership of their learning journey and equips them with the tools they need to succeed.

One of the cornerstones of the Achieve framework is our fantastic resource, "The Twenties."  As educators, we know how precious time and resources are.  "The Twenties" are designed to be a powerful, yet manageable, tool for busy teachers who are dedicated to supporting their students.

Each "Twenty" is essentially a mini lesson plan that provides step-by-step guidance and tips for deeper learning, focusing on building essential enterprise skills and capabilities.  In just 20 minutes, these resources can make a real difference. They're engaging, exciting, and designed to resonate with young minds, preparing them for life beyond the classroom and into their first careers.

"After attending the workshop I feel much more inspired and appreciate getting back a little more creativity"

During our workshop, we'll dive into practical strategies and explore how you can use "The Twenties" and other Achieve resources to:

  • Seamlessly integrate skills-based learning into your existing curriculum.

  • Cultivate student confidence and boost their engagement.

  • Equip your students for future success and everyday life.

Why Choose Achieving Impact?

The Achieve framework and its resources offer a multitude of benefits:

  • Skill Development: Focuses on vital skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication.

  • Adaptability:  Tailored to fit any school, learning environment, or age group.

  • Flexibility:  Complements and enhances existing programs and initiatives.

  • Engagement:  Addresses student disengagement while simultaneously building essential skills.

  • Teacher Support: Provides practical, ready-to-use strategies that don't add to your workload.

At The King's Trust Australia we believe that by working together, we can empower the next generation to achieve their full potential.  We look forward to sharing more about the Achieve framework and "The Twenties" with you at the National Education Summit. Let's work together to create a brighter future for our young people!
