A two day Additional Needs Symposium where academics, experts and health professionals share their knowledge and provide practical strategies for educators to implement into an inclusive classroom. This Symposium is designed to bridge the knowledge gap, dispel myths, promote research, and explore the development of additional needs in education settings.
The Symposium in Brisbane 2020 will cover four key streams - Anxiety, Mental Health / Childhood Trauma, Managing Challenging Behaviours and Language and Processing Disorders.
This Symposium is best suited to all educators working with students with additional needs including classroom teachers, special education teachers, wellbeing leaders and those in leadership looking to innovate at a school level or within the individual classroom.
