Chris Drake is the Director of Technologies at Wallarano Primary School, in Noble Park, Victoria.
Chris is responsible for the creation and co-ordination of the Digital ‘Sandpit’ initiative that enables competent, confident and purposeful use of Digital and Design Technology tools for teachers and students. Chris has also created whole school curriculum mapped documents and lesson plans that enable teachers to successfully integrate the Australian Technologies curriculum and Digital and Design tools into subjects such as Literacy, Numeracy, Humanities, Science, Health, The Arts and Inquiry units of work. Chris’ work has been recognised and commended by Samsung, Social Ventures Australia, Federal Government Ministers, touring schools from around Australia, as well as Charles Sturt University with credit to a Master’s Degree.
