Leighann Ness wilson

Lecturer in Technologies Education, School of Education, Australian Catholic University

Leighann is lecturer-in-charge of Technologies Education at the Australian Catholic University (ACU) at Banyo where she promotes creativity and an interdisciplinary approach across the curriculum. Leighann also works part-time as the Technologies Teacher in Residence at St Williams primary school.

Prior to embarking on a career in education, Leighann worked in the design industry both locally and internationally. Leighann has delivered and developed workshops for and on behalf of the State Library of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, Queensland Art Teachers Association, the Design and Technology Teachers Association, Adolescent Success and Flying Arts. 

Recently Leighann envisioned ACU’s Share the Spark professional learning series aimed at empowering and supporting teachers implementing the Technologies curriculum in the Primary years.
