Ebony Birch-Hanger is a qualified Teacher, Neurodevelopmental Therapist, Special Educational Teacher, Teacher of the Deaf, Education Consultant & Music Specialist with over a decade of experience supporting students with a variety of additional learning needs and medical conditions. She is the Director of Personalised Approaches, a social enterprise organisation offering unique services in education, therapy, consultancy and health. She has expertise in the areas of Special Education, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Deaf Education, Anxiety & working with neurological systems to enhance development and functioning in individuals of all ages. She has presented at numerous national conferences, including the AusDOCC (brain disorders of the corpus callosum) Conference, the National Autism in Education Conference, the National Kodaly Music Education Conference and recently contributed to a Victorian Department of Education/Yellow Ladybugs resource titled ‘Spotlight on Girls with Autism’.

Ebony will present at the Anxiety Stream as part of the Special Needs Symposim in Melbourne.
