Simon Venus is a Partner in the National Corporate and Commercial team of Piper Alderman.
Simon is a Partner in the National Corporate and Commercial team.
He utilises his drafting skills on a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions for Australian and international private clients and SMEs as well as major Australian corporations. He has been involved in many corporate projects including business and share sales and acquisitions, equity capital raisings and due diligence investigations.
Simon has advised many schools on a wide range of matters including school constitutions and board governance as well as general commercial arrangements including government funding agreements, supply contracts, commercial collaboration and alliance agreements and service agreements. Simon was the lead lawyer acting for University College London on the establishment of the School of Energy & Resources in Adelaide.

Simon is a trustee of charitable organisations including the Michell Bequest Foundation (a medical research foundation administered by the University of Adelaide Faculty of Health Sciences) and the University College London Australia Gift Fund and has sat on the Governing Council of his children’s primary school.
