Rhonda Faragher is a Senior Lecturer in Inclusive and Special Education at the University of Queensland.
Rhonda Faragher’s research interests have focussed on learners who find mathematics difficult, through disability or socio-economic disadvantage. With an interest in inclusive education, she has developed expertise in methodologies that enable the active participation of participants with intellectual disabilities. Her current research investigates inclusive secondary mathematics classroom practice.
She has received a number of awards, including the 2016 Vice-Chancellor’s Staff Excellence Award and Medal, and the 2011 Mathematics Education Research Group of Australasia’s Research award.
Rhonda will present at this year’s Special Needs Symposium.
