Dr. Daryl Greaves, Educational and Developmental Psychologist SPELD (Specific Learning Difficulties Association of Victoria)
Daryl spent much of the first decade of his professional life as a teacher both in Primary and Secondary schools, before becoming a lecturer at The University of Melbourne. He was involved in Commonwealth funded research projects concerned with literacy programs and teacher education.
He worked clinically, as an Educational and Developmental Psychologist at SPELD (Specific Learning Difficulties Association of Victoria) for many years where he assessed students from early primary school through to adults in middle age. He has worked with Michelle Hutchison for 23 years.
Daryl regularly travels to international conferences and presents seminars in schools. He is well known for his ability to explain complex concepts using analogies, stories and humour.
Daryl will present at this year’s Special Needs Symposium.
