He practises in the areas of employment, workplace relations and safety.
Chris was formerly a high school teacher in Victoria and Queensland. He has advised schools and university colleges in relation to the impact of criminal law on student misbehaviour.
He advises and represents employers on issues involving unjust dismissal claims, anti-discrimination claims, enterprise bargaining, industrial disputes, employment disputes and drafting of employment contracts. Chris also advises and defends corporate clients in respect of investigations and prosecutions by government regulators.
He has been recognised by his peers as one of the Best Lawyers® Australia in Labour and Employment law and in Doyle’s Guide to the Australian Legal Profession for Employment Law. He has extensive experience in the Victorian and Federal industrial relations and discrimination tribunals.
